IEP Review & School Advocacy

The Individual Education Plan

In the Province of Ontario, the Individual Education Plan (IEP) is developed to assist students who experience learning challenges with accessing The Ontario Curriculum.  The IEP outlines baseline data, modifications, and accommodations that will direct programming and assessment, and sets goals that anticipate what the student will be able to achieve within a period of time.

Our team provides services in the following areas:

IEP Review and Recommendations

We review current IEPs, and provide recommendations for improving alignment between assessment data and IEP goals, as well as setting additional, practical goals improving student success. Recommendations can be made for appropriate academic, behavioural, transition, and social-emotional strategies and goals.

School Advocacy

Upon request, our experienced team members can attend school meetings with parents to help them navigate system processes and advocate for their child.
